Gold Gear Awards: Continuing the Legacy of Excellence

Bulacan State University students have made a hobby out of bagging top spots in national competitions and becoming champions in sporting events. Such was proven last December 2018 with the trifecta of achievements BulSUans in the SCUAA, CAASUC, and MMFF. These outstanding athletes, performers, and filmmakers were given honor in the annual Bulacan State University Gold Gear Awards on May 9, 2019 at the Valencia Hall.

Groundbreaking at Hagonoy Campus

Staying true to the promise that "...there will be equal development between the external campuses and the main [campus]", March 5, 2019 bore witness to the groundbreaking ceremony of the 2-storey 6-classroom building at the Hagonoy Campus. BulSU Vice President for Executive Operations Dr. Teody C. San Andres passionately dedicated the new building to the better service of the growing number of students of the campus and its diligent faculty members.


Mid-Year Commencement Exercises and Graduate School Recognition Day

The second day of March 2019 witnessed the culmination of the long and challenging journey of students taking their Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate Degrees as they turned their tassels and threw their hats during the Mid-Year Commencement Exercises inside the Valencia Hall. A total of 390 graduates from across all colleges marched to the venue at 3 o'clock in the afternoon to receive their hard-earned diplomas in front of friends and family.


Peace Conference

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in cooperation with Bulacan State University (BulSU) and all State Universities and Colleges (SUC) in Region III launched the Peace Festival and Grand Launching of Volunteer Individuals for Peace (VIP) in partnership with the Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL) at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bocaue, Bulacan on February 15, 2019.
