DOST Sec. Dela Peña Visits BulSU

The University officials led by Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, warmly welcomed Sec. Dela Peña as they went around the Natividad Hall where the College of Engineering is situated. In order to showcase current technological system and other laboratory facilities, a THRIVE Video Room Tour was presented followed by a walk through to the DOST-BulSU BARAS TBI Room and Technology Business Incubator and Technology Transfer Office. The DOST-BulSU Food Innovation Center was also explored as the soft launching of Product Prototypes for Disaster

Emergency Food and Products for Commercialization, signing of Memorandum of Understanding with SMEs, and presentation of Dampalit Product Prototype took place.

The event was concluded at the BulSU Hostel where the DOST Secretary provided a short message as he expressed his gratitude to the effort and diligence of BulSU in emphasizing the significant role of Science, Technology and Innovation in addressing present global challenges amidst the pandemic.
