BulSU Receives Digital Excellence Award

Received by the President of Bulacan State University, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, BulSU was presented with the Excellence in Digital Advancement for the Youths Award for being the top State University in Luzon for online payments and disbursements in partnership with GCash. BulSU was also recognized as a valued partner in achieving a digital and cash-society and an instrument in providing efficient government services and delivering assistance to more Filipino youth. While BulSU aims to advance its system and provide convenient method of making student payments, a partnership with GCash was established in May 2021. The GCash application turns a mobile into a virtual wallet which students can utilize to pay fees and even receive reimbursements and refunds. Since then, the Institution's shift to cashless payments has ensured continuing operations and effective response to the needs of its stakeholders.
