BulSU receives PTV from PCSO

With a goal to better help those in need of medical attention, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donated several Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) to Bulacan State University (BulSU) and to Local Government Units (LGUs) all over the country. This is a timely event as we are hit by the COVID 19 crisis particularly in terms of rendering emergency medical care.

The Memorandum of Agreement regarding the said PTVs was signed by the University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon at the PCSO Main Office on February 20, 2020. The Turnover Ceremony was held the next day at the PCSO Grounds in Mandaluyong, Manila, which was also attended by the representatives from the different LGU recipients.

BulSU is the sole state university to have received a PTV. With this, the stakeholders of the University can look forward to a more effective response time in case of medical emergencies in and around the University. It is also expected that this instance will significantly enhance the functionality of the health system especially in this time of pandemic.
