The Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis Unit under the Planning and Development Office conducted the University’s Strategic Planning-Workshop 2018 on February 28-March 2, 2018 at the Vista Tala Resort and Recreational Park in Orani, Bataan. The workshop was envisioned to be central in shaping the Institution’s priorities and path. This year’s Strategic Planning-Workshop aimed to:

Institute new policies specifically for the delivery/submission of reports per unit/office for the completion of various documents to be submitted to various government agencies.
Establish targets for 2018 and propose an activity plan (Annual Operational Plan 2018) in achieving the targets in relation to the Strategic Plan established for 2016-2020; and
Conduct a SWOT (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) Analysis, a STEEP (Social, Technological, Economic, Ecological and Political) Trend Analysis Framework, and Resource Analysis for each unit/office.

Members of the Executive Committee headed by Dr. Cecilia N. Gascon and the heads of the Administrative Council attended the three-day activity.
