Parents' Turn: BulSU Airs Webinar Episode for Guardians of Students

Putting into consideration and recognizing the critical role that the parents play in the new normal learning setup, Bulacan State University (BulSU) aired an episode of webinar dedicated solely for the guardians of the learners, on September 2, 2020.

Entitled “Navigating the New Normal Learning Set-up: Parents’ Edition”, this episode aims to orient the guardians and also other family members of the students in the same household.

In her opening message, University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon acknowledged that the parents are the “experts” when it comes to their children and that their support is a critical factor in the success of new normal education.

One of the resource speakers, Dr. Joseline Santos, BulSU’s Assistant Director for Student Policy Development, expounded on the different modes Flexible Learning while Dr. Ruben Borja III, BulSU’s Director of Educational Development, explained the roles of parents in the new normal, and how they can help and support their child while studying at home.
