Science and Technology Week 2018

DOST Regional Director Dr. Julius Ceasar V. Sicat graced the event as the guest speaker for the opening ceremonies. Dr. Sicat’s message focused on urging the youth to create innovations that would help alleviate poverty in the country. He also enumerated the programs of the Department of Science and Technology that are geared towards assisting individuals or Institutions that are undergoing or who would like to seek to undergo innovative endeavors. University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon also challenged both faculty and students of BulSU to create innovative research proposals with the promise that the University will willingly fund the approved studies.

One of the highlights of the event was the unveiling of the official BulSU Science and Technology banner co-created by the College of Engineering, College of Science, College of Industrial Technology, and the College of Information and Communications Technology. This year’s four-day long festivities include trainings and seminars, competitions, application launches, and local recruitment activities to cap off the event.
