BulSU CICT places at an Inter-University Competition

The said competition was participated by UPRISE Racer composed of three Business Analytics Students: Mr. Axel Chester Lee Castro, Mr. John Renzo Fulgencio, and Ms. Ma. Revie Ubalde. They were coached and guided by Dr. Rosemarie Bautista and Dr. Digna Evale.

Global AWS Inter-University Deep Racer League was also joined by other universities namely De La Salle University, Mapua University, the University of the Philippines, and the University of Sto. Tomas. This competition aims to provide an opportunity for students to learn machine learning in a fun and creative environment. Through this, students will be able to teach cars to race a long track using reinforcement learning

"The competition enables students to think critically while enjoying their engagement. It provides an opportunity to improve students' problem-solving skills, be innovative, and think outside the box," said Dr. Rosemarie Bautista, one of the coaches from Bulacan State University.

UPRISE Racer placed 2nd in the Physical Racetrack Competition. The other universities who placed were De La Salle University and the University of the Philippines.
