BulSU Holds the Awarding Ceremony for Outstanding Alumni

The momentous occasion was attended by the University President, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, and the Executive Vice President, Dr. Teody C. San Andres, the Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, Engr. Erwin DR. Magsakay, Chancellor for Main Campus, Dr. Romeo DC. Inasoria, Chancellor for External Campus, Dr. Reynaldo S. Naguit, and other University Administrators.

Meanwhile, COEd Alumni Coordinator, Dr. Susana C. Velasco led the invocation and followed by the BulSU Saring Himig for the National Anthem and BulSU Hymn. The Executive Vice President, Dr. Teody C. San Andres gave his opening remarks with a message of gratitude to the Alumni who continue to inspire people with their achievements. It was then followed by the inspirational message of the University President, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon. In her speech, she encouraged everyone to continue to work in excellence to inspire the people around them. Afterward, the Vice Governor of the Province of Bulacan, Hon. Alex C. Castro delivered his speech. He acknowledged and congratulated the alumni for their awards and also extended his gratitude for choosing him to deliver an uplifting message. A warm message was also given by the BulSU Federation of Alumni Association President, Dr. Rolando R. Gaspar.

A total of 7 alumni were awarded a Plaque of Recognition, the Governor of the Province of Bulacan, Hon. Daniel R. Fernando also received a Good Governance Award. Hon. James Santos, City Councilor of the Municipality of Paombong delivered an acceptance speech as Hon. Daniel R. Fernando was not able to attend the ceremony. In his message, he said that he is proud that he finished his high school years at Bulacan State University. As the program ends, the Head of the Alumni Relations Office, Prof. Ma. Theresa F. Reyes delivered the closing remarks.

Engr. Jaime V. Bautista Jr., College of Engineering. Awarded for his contribution and performance in Business and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Dr. Joeselle M. Serrano, College of Science. Awarded for his contribution in Educational Innovation.

BGen. Quirijo S. Calonzo, AFP (Ret), Ed.D., College of Industrial Technology. Awarded for his performance on Military Service as former AFP Commander at Camp Aguinaldo.

Engr. Jonathan R. Dungca, College of Engineering. Awarded for his contribution in Science and Technology.
