BulSU's Partnership with DOST-PCIEERD for IoTRILS Project is Now Sealed

Establishment of Central Luzon Internet of Things Research and Innovation Laboratory for Smart Cities (IoTRILS), a project of Bulacan State University (BulSU) under the Department of Science and Technology's Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) Infrastructure Development Program Division, has been approved!

A ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing happened last October 4, 2022, at Space Technology Application Exhibit Launch and Memorandum of Agreement Signing of Newly Approved DOST-PCIEERD Projects at the McKinley Hill, 2/F Activity Area, Taguig City. The said agreement was signed by Engr. NiƱaliza H. Escorial, Deputy Executive Director of PCIEERD, Bulacan State University President, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, the Chief SRS of PCIEERD, Dr. Ruby Raterta, and the Project Leader, Engr. Alberto C. Cruz Jr.

This project aims to address the challenges in developing IoT solutions and help improve and coordinate existing government efforts that utilizes IoT in the region. Specifically, the project will implement three (3) initial flagship activities that will aid in strengthening government-academe-industry partnerships and the democratization of IoT innovations through incubation on multi-platform technology laboratories for concept validation and creation of effective IoT solutions.
