The closing program was attended by the University’s Executive Committee, led by the University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, and Mayors of different municipalities in Bulacan.
In her message, the University President called upon the BulSU Community to keep living up to the University’s Vision Statement, that BulSU be known not only for excellent instruction and pioneering research, but most importantly for active community engagement and services.
The founder of SAMBALARAN and former Director of the University Extension Services Office (ESO), Dr. Victor C. Ramos, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to those responsible for the realization of the SAMBALARAN Online Camp Project IV.
SAMBALARAN is a community development program intended to provide capability training in various service fields for 4Ps Beneficiaries in Bulacan. Although done online for the first time, the week-long program’s success was made certain by the support and participation of the different Colleges of the University.
Originally scheduled on November13, 2020, the closing program was postponed because of Typhoon Ulysses.
