Although held online for the first time, the event did not lack for love and warmth towards the teachers as the different offices and student organizations, led by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), presented audio-visual presentation (AVP) they each prepared for the enjoyment of the faculty. A special surprise AVP was also presented to pay special tribute for the University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon.
“Please do know that you are acknowledged, your efforts are recognized, and your worth is valued”, expressed Dr. Gascon as she cited the hardships and sacrifices done by the faculty in order to adjust to the new normal learning modalities. The President also mentioned that University is in the process of procuring noise-cancelling headphones for all of its Faculty, to be used in their online teaching sessions.
The Offices of the Provincial Governor and Vice-Governor, led by Hon. Gov. Daniel R. Fernando, and Hon. Vice-Gov. Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado, also made and effort to make an online appearance and express their thanks towards the faculty.
