To kick-off the webinar series, BulSU’s Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs (External Campuses), Prof. Gerald C. Hilario, Assistant Director for Educational Policy Development, Dr. Remedios O. Azarcon, and a Faculty of BulSU’s College of Education (COED), Mr. Ronilo P. Antonio, shared their knowledge about online etiquette, outcomes-based education (OBE), and new normal teaching strategies.

Continuing on the second leg of the series, Assistant Director for Educational Policy Development Dr. Joseline M. Santos, and University Librarian Ms. Maria Pretty Lay T. Abdala expounded on instructional learning materials and resources for online learning.

Closing on a high note, the webinar series had BulSU President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, together with BulSU’s Executive Director for Legal Affairs and the Dean of the College of Law, Atty. Nenita DC. Tuazon, and Bishop Jonel Milan as the resource speakers who talked about delivery of education, plagiarism, and a balanced life in the new normal.

In her session, Dr. Gascon elaborated on the necessary steps BulSU took to prepare its teaching force and its student body for the new normal education, such as having its own series of webinars, and giving its students the freedom to choose the mode of learning best suited for them.

The webinar series entitled “R3 Hi Ed (Region III Higher Education) Bayanihan: Free Virtual topic offerings on the adoption of new normal and digital transformation for the Higher Education Institutions in Region III” was aired live and is available for viewing in CHEDRO III’s official Facebook page.
