PSC, BulSU FAU launch Palakasan sa Pamantasan 2019

The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), in partnership with the Bulacan State University (BulSU) Faculty Union (FAU) and sponsored by the Office of Senator Sonny M. Angara, launched the 2nd "Palakasan sa Pamantasan", held at the BulSU Valencia Hall, November 8, 2019.

The three-day event is intended to deviate the attention of the faculty from the stress of daily academic work and to give them a chance to relax and have fun with their co-faculty members.

According to BulSU FAU President Jessica Chozas, the PSC gave BulSU Php1.1M as sports funds through the help of Senator Angara. Additionally, the PSC also used the event to scout for potential athletes that can represent our country in the international sporting arena.

To show her deep gratitude to Senator Angara, University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, together with the BulSU Faculty and student athletes, responded with a short message “Salamat Senator Angara, number 1 ka sa BulSU!”
