BID@han takes a more concentrated approach, starts with CoEd

“In education, there is no product recall.”

Such were the words of the Bulacan State University (BulSU) President Dr. Cecilia Navasero-Gascon, as a way of challenging the faculty of the participating college, the College of Education (CoEd), to produce well-educated and competent graduates because unlike other products that can be returned, incompetent graduates cannot be simply called back to school.

The University President uttered the phrase during the opening segment of yet another episode of the BulSU, Ideya, Dayalogo, at Kwentuhan (BID@han)  held in the BulSU Hostel on November 4, 2019.

In this iteration of BID@han, they chose to focus on the concerns of one college at a time, having CoEd and its issues as the first subject of discussion. Dr. Gascon, together with her vice-presidents of the Executive Committee, answered the questions and addressed the concerns of the faculty and students regarding the K-12 Program, academic facilities, incentives, and matters relative to promotion, benefits and demerits among other issues.

BID@han, in its new format, was held around lunch time, it started at 11 o’clock in the morning and concluded at 2 in the afternoon.
