AACCUP visits BulSU for Internal Preliminary Survey

Bulacan State University (BulSU) underwent another round of program accreditation on August 19-29, 2019. That was an Internal Preliminary Survey Visit in which four colleges and two satellite campuses submitted some of their programs for scrutiny of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines(AACCUP).

The programs submitted for accreditation included the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts (CAFA), Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Bachelor of Arts in Malikhaing Pagsulat of the College of Arts and Letters (CAL), Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Bachelor of Science in Food Technology of the College of Science (CS), and Bachelor of Public Administration of the College of Social Science and Philosophy (CSSP). Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management & Marketing Management, Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Math, MAPEH/BPEd, English of the Bustos Campus and Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education and Bachelor of Industrial Technology of the Meneses Campus were also surveyed by internal accreditors.

This quality assurance process aimed to make sure that theUniversity continue to provide quality education to its stakeholders. In the said undertaking, various programs and services were evaluated by group of accreditors to determine if the applicable standards were met.

University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon on her speech remarked that, “Meeting the demands of accreditation appears to be a herculean job; it is not a walk in the park, especially if we would not work together.  The urgency and immensity of the challenges before us call for our collaboration. WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER. We need each other’s ideas and help. As Pogo once said, ‘none of us is as smart as all of us’.”

This activity came to an end on August 29, 2019 with the closing program which was attended in by the university officials, faculty, staff, and students of the involved colleges.
