Sarmiento @ 21

The four-day event with the theme “21^st Anniversary for the 21^st Century Education” opened at 9:00 in the morning at the campus activity center on May 28. The event was attended by the University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, Dean of the Graduate School and guest speaker Dr. Rolado Gaspar (the first Campus Director of BulSU-SC), the longtime benefactors of the campus the Sarmiento family, and the entire Sarmiento Campus community. The highlight of the opening program was the unveiling of the perspective of the approved SC administration building which is aimed to provide better services to the students and faculty members of the campus.

In her message, Dr. Gascon promised the benefactors of the campus that they would continue to provide high quality education to the youth of the lone district of Bulacan by investing on the further academic development of its faculty members in order to provide timely and relevant skills to the students. Guest speaker Dr. Gaspar regaled all those in attendance with stories regarding his fond memories of how the campus started in the early 2000’s as well as his aspirations for the future of BulSU-SC.
