Legends Established: Acing the Licensure Examinations

Bulacan State University (BulSU) has once again proven that it is a force to be reckoned with in the academic community as it produced top notchers in the Mehanical Engineering and Librarian Licensure Examinations. Mr. Jethro M. Sayo (91.60 % rating) and Mr. Billy Joe M. Alcantara (91.50% rating) from the College of Engineering took the 4th and 5th spots in the August 2018 Mechanical Engineering examinations. BulSu has also been ranked as the top 8 performing school in Mechanical Engineering as 81.25% of its 128 examinees passed the exam, which surpassed the national passing rate of 60.82%. The institution also eclipsed the 24.90% National Passing rate of the July 2018 Master Plumber Licensure Exams with its 64% overall passing rate.

In the same light, the College of Education also produced its own top notcher in the recently held September 2018 Librarian Licensure Examinations in the person of Ms. Franchesca H. Ramirez who bagged the top 5 spot with an 88.05% rating. In terms of overall performance, BulSU scored 48.44% with 55.56% first timers passed and 10% repeaters passed.
