Of Justice and Economic Development: March Convocation

By University Communications Group

The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) spearheaded Bulacan State University’s convocation for the month of March. Held on March 20, 2018 at the Valencia Hall, the CCJE Administration tackled the complex and nuanced relationship between rule of law and sustainable economic growth with their theme entitled: “Batas, Kaayusan, at Katarungan: Saligan ng Pambansang Kaunlaran.” Armed with the vision to provide the community with professionally competent and morally upright graduates, College Dean Dr. Reynaldo S. Naguit challenged, not just the Criminology and Legal Management students, but all of those present during the event to adhere to the promotion and practice of fairness and responsibility; not simply because it allows for sound and fair principles to prevail, but mostly because it creates an environment for steady and fundamental growth to occur.

The event was graced by the presence of Presidential Spokesperson Sec. Harry Roque Jr., 1st District of Bulacan Representative Hon. Jonathan Sy-Alvarado, the BulSU Executive Committee under the leadership of University President Dr. Cecilia Navasero-Gascon, the Deans from different colleges, and BulSU Students.
