Creating Intercontinental Impact

“You are at Bulacan State University because you are good…”. This is the bragging statement of the University President Dr. Cecilia Navasero-Gascon when asked about BulSUans. That statement has manifested itself yet again on the 22nd and 23rd of February 2018, this time across international waters at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead Hotel in Atlana, Georgia, USA.

Hailing from the College of Engineering, the team composed of Jasper Kevin Dionisio, Denise May Unsay, Kim Rey Rondina, Jemille S. Venturina and faculty adviser Engr. Hazel A. Caparas won third place at the prestigious Healthcare Systems Process Improvement Conference 2018 – SHS/Flexsim Model Building Competition. The group bested 26 other teams from countries across the globe to become one of the finalists of the said event which was witnessed by more than 350 international attendees.

Truly, the students of Bulacan State University have proven time and time again their potential to create positive impact in the world.
