A total of 10 songs made it to the competition out of almost 7,000 entries from Filipinos all over the world.
This year’s music videos were produced by ten participating schools. Bulacan State University has been selected to create the MV for “Bagyo” by Agatha Morallos, interpreted by Jake Zyrus. Other schools in the competition include: Columban College Olongapo, Lyceum of the Philippines-Laguna, Southern Luzon State University, Holy Angel University-Pampanga, De La Salle Lipa, Meridian International College, Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Abucay, Bataan, International Academy of Film and Television, and Saint Louis University – Baguio.
The music videos were aired on November 4, 2017 at 8:00 in the morning on MYX. The Best Music Video will be awarded to the winning students with a P50,000 cash reward.
