Duties :
  • To assist the Research Director in setting-up a Research Ethics Committee;
  • To prepare necessary requirements for the accreditation procedures by the Philippine Health Research Ethics Board. (PHREB)
Education : Must have a Master of Science Degree related to health (Microbiology, Public Health)
Experience : At least One (1) year of relevant experience
Training : At least Four (4) years of releavant training
Eligibility : None Required / RA 1080 (Bar or Board Eligibility)
Other Qualifications : Must have the capability to prepare research proposals and approved for funding by outside agencies, particularly Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Health (DOH) and similar agencies;
Must have the capacity (thru training and relevant work) to set-up a Research Ethics Committee;
Must be assigned to the URO;
May be assigned to the College of Nursing for her/his academic affiliation.
