Position : Laboratory Technician
Campus : Main Campus

Employment Type : Contract of Service
Duties :
  • Perform periodic systematic maintenance check-up.
  • Responds to and performs emergency repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Orders material required for the completion of daily tasks.
  • Design, install, maintain and repair hot and cold water piping, drain lines, sewer lines, air lines, gas lines and all types of plumbing fixtures.
  • Do related work.
Qualifications
Education : Graduate of Mechanical Technology/Civil Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering
Experience : Has one year of relevant experience
Training : Has four hours of relevant training
Eligibility : Preferably with Laboratory Technician Eligibility (CSC MC No. 10, s. 2013 Skills Eligibility – Category II)
Other Qualifications : Knowledgeable in the subject matter, terminology, techniques and procedures associated with a laboratory, including equipment and materials used in the subject area
Preferably has excellent laboratory skills; with strong instrumentation background
Preferably an effective team player, meticulous, and quality-oriented
Preferably knowledgeable in basic mechanical processing techniques and operations
Preferably can able to utilize, calibrate and/or troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrument
Computer literate
Has the ability to multi-task
