MOU Signing with DOST-Industrial Technology Development Institute

In pursuit of the Institution's 2nd goal of providing Innovative and Responsive Research which would be beneficial to the region, Bulacan State University (BulSU) President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon signed a memorandum of understanding with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - Industrial Technology Development Institute (ITDI) Graduate Research Collaboration Program on July 3, 2018 at the PICC. The DOST-ITDI GRCP aims to provide the necessary technical assistance to graduate students of the partner university who are conducting research as curriculum requirements for their Master's or Doctorate degrees. The agency would also facilitate the publication of the research results in technical journals.

The partnership also aims to facilitate joint academic and scientific activities such as conferences, symposia, or lectures that would help promote mutual cooperation and collaboration in research and development to help accelerate science, technology, and innovation in the country. The program for the MOU signing began at 9:00 in the morning and was concluded at 5:00 in the afternoon. Also present during the event were DOST Secretary Engr. Fortunato T. de la Peña and DOST Deputy Director for R&D Dr. Annabelle V. Briones.
