In an effort to provide the graduating batch of students of Bulacan State University (BulSU) the opportunity to get a job immediately after graduation, the University's Placement and Public Employment Service Office (PPESO) and the Provincial PESO Office in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry and the Department of Labor and Employment launched the BulSU Career Fair 2018 on May 29, 2018 at the Valencia Hall. The Job and Livelihood Fair with the theme of “Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan Para Sa BulSUans” brought together prestigious companies from their respective industries to provide the students the chance to gain employment. As an added bonus, the event also provided the students with a one-stop-shop where they could apply for SSS and PhilHealth membership, and NSO Birth Certificates all in one go.

Present during the event were the University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, Dean for Student Affairs and Services Engr. Oliver R. Mariano, University PPESO Head Dr. Keno Piad, and members of the Provincial PESO and DOLE Bulacan.
