BulSU Soared anew in Licensure Exams

Before the year 2010 nearly came to its end, there was something that our engineering graduates have shared that made all of us more joyful and grateful. As five engineering students performed outstandingly and made it to the top examinees plus plenty of new engineers from different specializations of licensure exams.

Engr. Wilmir B. Nicanor took the first place with an ever age of 93.40%. There were 4,715 examines in the November 2010 Electronics Licensure Examination. BULSU produced 37 new electronics engineers, with a passing rate of 21.26%, a little below to the national passing rate of 21.76%. Adding to that, 15 examines are conditional, just step away to pass in the next date of examination.

Engr. Ershie G. Clemente and Engr. Arvin L. Santiago, shared a spot in the 4th place in November 2010 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination. Both have an average of 94.60%. The national passing rate stood at 40.57% and with 5, 028 examinees BULSU surpassed it by having a passing rate of 51.92%, producing 54 new civil engineer.

The September 2010 Mechanical Engineer Licensure Exam gave us a result with a 4th place in the person of Engr. Bernhard R. Cortez with an average of 91.10%. A total of 1,594 passed out of 2,387 examinees. BULSU produces 54 new mechanical engineers, with a passing rate of 64.29%, a little below from the national passing rate of 66.29%.

Also, BULSU's Ramiro Tivo placed 9th in the Semptember 2010 Registered Master Electrician together with other 4 passed examinees. The result of September 2010 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Exam gave us 16 new electrical engineers.
