Vision

The Institute of Arts and Letters envisions to become the Center of Excellence not only in Region III but also in the national as well as in the international scene specifically in Asian, land in European countries in the fields of arts & letters in terms of instruction, research and extension particularly in the performing, visual, and communication arts or any other related academic curricular programs and projects.

Mission

Pursuant to its mission, the Institute of Arts and Letters is committed to uphold humanistic ideas amidst technological advancement in the promotion of arts & letters as an instrument of change for the Filipino people's liberation and empowerment in the preservation of Philippine values, customs, and traditions that will serve as the foundation of a strong republic with a high sense of nationalistic culture.

Goals

1. Quality Instruction. Empowering the graduates to achieve a better life and to become globally competitive individuals among the Asian and European counterparts in the fields of arts & letters imbued with high spirit of nationalism through the aid of quality instruction and effective programs of study relevant to the exigencies of the time.

2. Effective Research. Conducting effective and relevant research-studies that can serve to the best interests of different courses of study pertaining to the arts & letters for the emancipation of the Filipino people from the bondage of poverty and illiteracy within its area of jurisdiction.

3. Relevant Programs and Projects. Establishing different curriculum related programs and projects that can enhance and strengthen different courses of study leading to graduates’ empowerment in their quest for knowledge in the fields of arts & letters.

4. Service-Oriented Extension Programs. Promoting different service-oriented extension programs that can contribute to the upgrading of the Filipino people's way of life in all aspects within its area of service.
